Established in 2008, EastBurn is a neighborhood Public House that is as diverse as Portland’s population.

Chef Brandon Smoak elevates the public house dining experience with innovative brunch and dinner dishes that comfort and delight. General Manager Josh Roeder makes sure that guests experience the best of hospitality, while Bar Manager Thomas Dauphinee oversees a lovingly curated draft list and cocktail menu. EastBurn boasts two floors of dining and entertainment with two full bars, 19 rotating taps, and a patio with swing chairs and fire tables. Weekends feature live music on the main floor along with rotating DJ’s in the downstairs Tap Room.

Chef Brandon Smoak focuses on dishes that are comforting, inventive and playful.

His monthly “Beer Belly” dinners feature 5 courses of perfectly paired beer and food, designed for a different brewery each month while donating all proceeds of each dinner to a charity of the breweries choice.

These spark creative dishes that often find their way to the ever evolving pub menu. Whether it’s hunting for chanterelles, roasting whole pigs or creating a humble grilled cheese named among the top 25 in the country by Food and Wine magazine, Chef and staff get hands on to create some of Portland’s best food.

We have nineteen rotating taps in house. Between the eleven taps upstairs and eight taps downstairs in our Tap Room, you will find a wide selection of local craft beers and ciders from some of the country’s most progressive breweries and cider houses.

For smaller private parties and meetings our Annex is the perfect venue. The Annex seats up to 20 comfortably or up to 30 for a cocktail style party. It features an open kitchen, private restroom, wifi and audio/visual capabilities.

Our newly remodeled Tap Room is a great spot to get your friends together for a large party as well. Big enough for large groups with lots of games including Skeeball and 4 people Pac Man as well as big screen TVs! 

We also have a wonderful all season patio that comfortably seats 30-40 and with the addition of the Annex space makes for the perfect party room for wedding receptions and reunions for groups of up to 70+!
